We offer a wealth of experience based on more than 50 successfully completed e-mobility projects as well as our detailed knowledge of usage cycles, loads and measured field data collection from all types of heavy special vehicles. Together with electric motors and inverters from well-known partners, our field proven axles and gearboxes create a robust, reliable and efficient system solutions.
For motors and inverters, we offer a wide range of power stages and a large number of technical solutions - air, water or oil-cooled components, a wide range of DC link voltages from 80-800 VDC and flexible selection of communication interfaces.
Our electric drive system is complemented by our drive software that is individually tailored to your vehicle, and includes functions such as transmission control, torque vectoring or regenerative braking, depending on the drive train.

Main features of our electric wheel drives, at a glance
The robust e-wheel drives from Kessler + Co are characterized by their compact and flexible design and the use of field proven Kessler components. The benefit of using independently driven wheels together with the Kessler + Co drive software offers the advantage of an electric differential and flexible torque vectoring to support the steering function. These result in increased maneuverability and reduced tire wear.
Our e-wheel drives are used in various applications, e.g. in small and medium-sized forklifts, but also in full container reach stackers, underground dump trucks, straddle carriers and many more.
Main features of our electric axle drives, at a glance
The robust e-axle drives from Kessler + Co combine drive powers of up to 350 kW per axle with a proven axle structure for axle loads of up to over 200 t. Using the existing interface to the vehicle frame ensures maximum flexibility for using either electrical or conventional drives with the existing vehicle structure. Thanks to optimized brakes and drive components, our solutions offer maximum efficiency and range.
Our e-axle drives can be found in forklifts, reach stackers, underground dump trucks, tractors, baggage tractors and many more.
Main features of our electric central drives, at a glance
The robust central e-drives from Kessler + Co are the all-rounders for vehicles electrification with variable power flow between axles, as well as for flexible electrification while keeping the already proven drive train. With continuous output power of up to over 400 kW, our gearboxes are suitable even for the heaviest applications and, thanks to a wide variety of design options, can be configured as one, two or three-speed variants to provide the best solution for every application. Depending on your requirements the e-drives are available with standstill, electrical synchronization or conventional powershift.
Our central electric drives are used in loaders - both underground and surface - in dump trucks, fire trucks and many more.
